Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor and board member of SSC from 2011. As the Artistic Director for SSC she also was SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. While she was usually the leader inside her ensemble of actors In her final year as an actor in SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer.
